About

Lilly is a visual artist and arts educator whose practice explores the non-verbal connections between people, place, and their environments. Through colour, texture, and abstraction, she translates the unspoken, articulating the tangible expressions of these relationships within her work.

Drawing inspiration from tactile environments and the language of materiality, Lilly investigates the contrast between the living fluidity of nature and the rigidity of societal structures. Her practice is informed by personal experience and storytelling, allowing intuitive processes to shape works that reflect both internal narratives and shared human experiences.

Having lived and worked across Australia, Lilly now finds herself in Central Australia, where the isolation of the desert and the dynamics of a small community continue to reshape her practice. She has exhibited nationally in public and private galleries and her work is held in both private and public collections. Lilly is currently lecturing at Charles Darwin University while maintaining an active studio practice on Arrernte Country Mparntwe / Alice Springs.
